Having made a home in California, Cecilia Mases' heart remains divided between two worlds—the familiar landscape of her adopted home and the breathtaking beauty of her native Sweden. For Cecilia, clouds are more than just weather patterns—they are a bridge to her past and a reminder of loved ones across the globe. The traveling clouds symbolize the universal connections that tie people together, no matter the distance.

“Hiking or walking the dog; I often must stop what I do and take a picture of clouds building up in the horizon, a sunset or the waves crashing against the shore. These pictures are my inspiration in the studio where I paint my landscapes in acrylic or oil on canvas” Cecilia explains about her art.
